Maternity, Newborns & Babies

Maternity

Capture the anticipation, change, and excitement of your pregnancy with a maternity session. Your beautiful growing belly will be the star of the photos. The best time for the session is usually between 32 and 36 weeks into the pregnancy. Sessions usually last an hour and can occur either in the Brighton studio or at an outdoor location. If preferred, gowns in a variety of colors and neutrals are provided.

Newborns

Your precious little ones won’t stay little for long, so capture those early memories with newborn portraits! I'm known for my posed newborn sessions, which can take place in my studio or your home. Cute hats, wraps, baskets, and blankets surround your little one while we capture baby slumbering in sweet, sleepy poses. A typical posed session lasts about ninety minutes to two hours.

I also offer lifestyle portraits. These are an ideal way to capture the raw emotion of the moment. Lifestyle sessions take place at your home and feature candid images, capturing things just as they are, real moments frozen in time for you and your family to enjoy repeatedly. They include shots of mom and dad, siblings, and even the family pet interacting with each other! Lifestyle sessions do not require as much time as a posed session and are ideal for fussy babies or older babies. A typical lifestyle session lasts anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.

Milestones

Milestone sessions are perfect for capturing moments in time...and those precious curls or that adorable face that they make! The chubby cherub cheeks or their shy grin! If only you could freeze all those little quirks in time… but wait! You can! So much growth happens in a baby's first year of life...from the moment they are born to the moment that they celebrate their first birthday and all those moments in between...capturing a baby's first year is all about the milestones!
